Apples:

- When someone is in a bad mood, you may call them a crab apple, but crab apples are really nice tasty snack apples.
- Most of the apples in the United States come from Washington, Michigan, and New York.
- Cider is a drink from the juice of an apple.
- Try apple cider warmed up - it makes a delicious cold weather beverage.
Pumpkins:
Farmer Gus says "I never met a pumpkin I didn't like."
A pumpkin is the fruit of a trailing vine.
Most pumpkins are orange but can be white, green or even striped.
Some pumpkins can weigh over 900 pounds! That's as big as 2 baby elephants.
Cornucopia:
A cornucopia is a goat's horn overflowing with fruit, flowers and corn, that stand for wealth and abundance.
A cornucopia is sometimes referred to as a horn of plenty.
